Explosiveness here refers to the ball speed generated by the racket on powerful shots. The power rating indicates how fast the ball will come off your racket during smashes or viboras, for example.

Control:

This characteristic measures how much control the racket offers: the level of command and precision it provides. Control affects the accuracy of your shots. It is determined by the racket’s shape and how its weight is distributed.

Forgiveness:

This is simply the size of the sweetspot. The sweetspot is the area of the racket that gives the best response when the ball makes contact. Its size and position vary from racket to racket.

Manoeuvrability:

Manoeuvrability is how easy it is to move your racket around on court. The more manoeuvrable it is, the more responsive it will be to your movements and the more effective your shots will be, especially on the volée.

Spin:

Spin is the ability to make the ball rotate. The placement and size of the holes, as well as the surface type, affect the quality of spin and how easily you can generate it to surprise your opponents. The racket’s shape can also affect spin: head-heavy rackets let you add more spin to your balls.

Comfort:

Here, playing comfort refers to how easy the racket is to play with. The more comfortable a racket is, the more it absorbs vibrations on impact, giving shots a softer feel at the expense of some power.
