For carbon, density is also a factor that modifies the feel. Indeed, you have surely noticed phrases such as "3k carbon" for example. This means that 3,000 carbon filaments make up the face, making it a low-density carbon. Some rackets can have up to 24,000 filaments and are therefore very stiff and harder to control, but devastating on smashes in particular. 

The foam: soft or rigid? 

Between the faces lies the foam, also known as rubber. There are 2 main types: Soft foams and Hard foams. Soft foams are flexible and give a cushioned feel when the ball strikes the racket, allowing the player to feel as few vibrations as possible. Control is therefore increased and the racket is easier to handle.

The hard foam, for its part, is stiffer and less forgiving but it adds hardness to the racket, ideal for attacking players. However, beware of vibrations which are often the cause of many injuries, particularly to the elbow.
