How do you find THE racket best suited to your playing level? How do you navigate the many brands and models? Esprit Padel Shop looked into it and created a revolutionary tool to save you time and help you choose the best racket for you: the El Comparator racket comparator!
To make your first selection, you can now use El Selector, our new questionnaire that recommends your future racket! Answer a few questions about your style, level and preferences, and a selection of several rackets suited to your profile will be suggested. Then, place them in El Comparator and make your final choice!
No more dozens of product pages open to compare padel rackets with each other. Our teams understood that the many characteristics of each racket were difficult to study and compare because there are so many of them. That is why this new tool will help you distinguish between padel rackets and make the best choice. The principle is simple: compare the 6 main characteristics of each racket and display them in a chart.
Each of these characteristics is rated from 0 to 100 for maximum precision. What's more, you can compare up to 4 different rackets. We have selected 3 rackets as examples.

Here are the 6 characteristics that El Comparator will be able to assess and compare:
Power / explosiveness:
If you want information about the racket's power, this is where it happens! Here, we are talking about the power return of the pala as well as its mould. Thus, with the power characteristic, you will be able to understand how fast your ball will go.
Control:
When it comes to control, it is all about precision. This metric is based on the shape of the racket as well as the materials used in it. Weight distribution also affects the control of your racket.
Tolerance:
Do off-centre balls bother you? No problem: with the tolerance metric, you will be able to know the size of the hitting area. Varying according to the rackets and their shape, it is always important to know the true limits of their sweetspot.
Manoeuvrability:
When it comes to manoeuvrability, it is all about weight. Indeed, the lighter the racket, the more manoeuvrable it is! This gives you greater freedom of movement when this metric is at its maximum. Master your movements!
Spin:
A key focus for most padel players... spin. Although it is primarily a stroke, your rackets are often equipped with very useful technologies to perform this exercise well. To properly assess spin, we took into account the surface of the frame as well as its shape.
Comfort:
Too often overlooked even though it is essential in padel, comfort is also one of these characteristics. Here, we are talking about vibration absorption, for greater flexibility when hitting. The variables involved here are the foam and the frame.
All these characteristics compared with each other create a spider chart. Below is an example for the selected rackets:

François Authier's view, professional padel player
To help us with the painstaking task of rating each racket, former French number 1 and member of the French padel team François Authier cast his expert eye over all our rackets to help us be as precise as possible when rating our palas. Drawing on his experience as a padel coach, he was able to test numerous rackets with the entire Esprit Padel Shop team and share his experience as a padel player with us.

The aim is not to get the racket with the highest overall score, but rather the racket best suited to your style and playing level.
As the first sales site to offer this tool, Esprit Padel Shop helps you distinguish between padel rackets and compare them to find the one that will take your progress to the next level and help you become the best padel player in record time!
