Dunlop padel balls

Features of Dunlop padel balls

Of all the padel products available, Dunlop padel rackets often come to mind, but padel balls less so, even though they are essential to playing the sport. Dunlop may not be the best-known brand among the general public, but it is popular with players of the little yellow ball, particularly for its expertise in ball felt for tennis and padel, supplying balls for both sports for many years.

So, what is Dunlop's strength when it comes to these balls? First of all, their expertise and authenticity enable them to design increasingly innovative balls. The size of the range also plays a role, with only types of balls available to keep things simple. Dunlop Team and Dunlop Pro are therefore the only balls the brand offers to cover as many playing styles as possible.

How do you choose Dunlop padel balls?

Although Dunlop only offers 2 types of balls, this does not prevent all padel players from feeling comfortable with these balls. For beginner players or those who prefer to have more time when hitting the ball, Dunlop Team balls are the most suitable. Slightly less pressurised, they offer better control and greater playing comfort. They are easier to play with, which is why they are the balls we recommend to beginners, to avoid frustrating unforced errors at the start.

Dunlop Pro balls, on the other hand, have higher pressure and a stiffer outer felt. The idea is to give your shots more substance and make your smashes more powerful. This type of ball also responds faster, giving it more explosive impact. Bear in mind, though, that you have less control and may make more errors. That’s why we recommend these balls for experienced players.
