How do you choose a racket at expert level? 

At expert level, players have plenty of experience and know both padel and their own game inside out. That makes it essential to pay close attention to racket details, because every element matters when choosing a padel racket. 

Shape: it always depends on your playing style. 

It’s worth repeating: choosing a racket comes down to each player’s preferences on court. At expert level, every player has a distinct playing style that you need to consider when choosing the most suitable racket. If you prefer to attack (usually from the left), finish points with powerful smashes or hit par 3s, then rackets with a diamond shape are for you, thanks to their head-heavy balance. Racket faces: what else besides carbon? 

At this level of play, hardly any manufacturer offers a fibreglass racket.
