New year, new collection for Nox. In 2022, the brand with the big X is entering a period of transition with the rise of Agustin Tapia, 22, its new star who is gradually taking over from the legendary Miguel Lamperti, 43. Building on these two partnerships, as well as its partnership with the Alayeto twins, Nox is releasing several rackets this year that are well worth a closer look.
The Luxury range: by professionals, for professionals
The AT10, young Agustin Tapia’s racket.
Last year, this racket came in just one version; today, Nox offers four different versions. Alongside the classic AT Genius Arena, which made the product so well known, Nox has introduced ultra-dense 18k carbon fibre. This technology adds stiffness to help deliver powerful shots such as smashes and volleys. It features on two rackets: the round-shaped AT10 Genius 18k and the diamond-shaped AT10 Genius Attack 18k. The latter is one of the most powerful rackets on the market and can be devastating when properly controlled.
The ML10, legendary Miguel Lamperti’s racket
An iconic figure of the World Padel Tour and the Nox brand, Miguelito has recently signed with the brand for another two years. That means new rackets this year, including the ML10 Pro Cup Luxury Series. Long a fixture in the advanced category, this round racket, which the Argentine player will use, joins the professional range thanks to a new anti-vibration system and rougher faces for added spin.
In the same category, the ML10 Luxury Shotgun offers more power thanks to its diamond shape, for players who prefer a more attacking style. The ML10 Luxury Bahia, with its teardrop shape, offers a more complete and versatile game.
The Sanchez Alayeto twins’ rackets
To round off the professional rackets, let’s look at sisters Mapi and Majo Sanchez Alayato, aka “Las Gemenas Atomikas”, ranked world numbers 15 and 16 respectively. Although they share similar characteristics, the Nox MP10 and Nox MJ10 rackets each have a few distinguishing details.
The MJ10 is all about versatility, with 12k carbon fibre faces and a teardrop shape that encourage a balance between power and control. The MP10 , meanwhile, features 3k carbon fibre and a round shape for exceptional control and manoeuvrability.
World Padel Tour rackets: play with the official rackets!
As well as working with these pro players, Nox is a partner of the official WPT circuit. This allows the brand to offer World Padel Tour-branded rackets with undeniable qualities.
The Luxury range also includes these rackets, notably the Nerbo World Padel Tour 2022. This powerful diamond-shaped racket also features 18k technology and could be a very good alternative to the AT10 Genius Attack mentioned above.
The Advanced Series range is more accessible, with fibreglass faces for greater comfort on impact. The Attraction WPT 2022 racket is the power-focused option, while the Equation WPT offers more control and precision for intermediate to advanced players. A women’s version is also available.
The Pro Series range: the Pro Cup, a racket that has stood the test of time.
A mainstay since the brand’s early days, the Pro Cup is back in force this year with the ML10 Pro Cup 2022. As ever, it is highly versatile, offering a well-balanced blend of power and control. With its round shape, very soft 3K fibreglass faces and carbon frame, this racket will suit players of all kinds who want to place precise shots without sacrificing too much power. The Silver version is also available; it is lighter and could be well suited to women.
The Casual range: helping beginner and intermediate players improve in the best possible way.
In this range, the X-One racket stands out as a must-have for beginners. Highly versatile, it adapts well to players of different levels, whatever their style of play. This racket offers good value for money and is a top choice when selecting a first padel racket.
For women, the Nox Silhouette racket is the equivalent of the X-One, with greater manoeuvrability and a lighter feel.
Nox clothing range: where performance meets elegance.
To round off an already extensive collection, the Spanish brand has also launched a clothing range, once again fronted by Agustin Tapia. Available in three colours (white, black and red), the Argentine champion’s official shirt is simple and elegant, but also features technologies such as sweatshirt Control to help wick away sweat. For a more casual look, there’s also a basic women’s T-shirt bearing the brand’s slogan, "makes you improve". Whether for playing padel or everyday wear, this 100% cotton T-shirt can be worn anywhere. It’s available on our site in red, white and blue at a very affordable price.
