This is the moment all fans of the Lyon-based brand have been waiting for. With the season in full swing, Babolat has finally unveiled its 2026 collection. While we were used to minor tweaks, this year the French manufacturer decided to shake things up completely.
On the agenda: a dark and elegant aesthetic shift, but above all a major technical overhaul of its Technical range. We've broken down all the new features of this Babolat 2026 collection for you.
The Technical 2026 range: Wiping the slate clean and starting fresh

This is the headline news of this launch. If you love a good "Por Tres", pay close attention. The Technical range, dedicated to technical attackers, undergoes a complete overhaul.
Gone is the mould you used to know. Babolat introduces a much more aggressive geometry with sharper angles at the racket head. The goal? To increase the head-heavy balance for devastating striking leverage. But power is nothing without control. That's where the new Dynamic Stability System technology comes in.
Looking at the racket throat, you'll immediately spot the difference: the bridge goes from two to three arms. This design provides enhanced stability on impact and greater forgiveness, fixing the traditional flaw of diamond rackets that are often too demanding. In addition, the hole pattern has been redesigned to optimise ball output.
The range comes in three models to suit your level:
-
The Technical Viper 2026: The powerhouse monster in rigid carbon for experts.
-
The Technical Veron 2026: The ideal compromise thanks to Carbon Flex, offering more dynamism.
-
The big news: the Vertuo steps aside for the Technical Viper Soft 2026. A racket designed to be much easier to play with, delivering the punch of a diamond shape without the excessive stiffness.
Counter 2026: The yellow wall goes into stealth mode

For strategists and relentless defenders, the Counter range keeps its legendary round shape and huge "sweet spot" (ideal hitting area). No drastic mould change here, but optimised feel.
The aesthetics, however, have changed. The yellow colour scheme remains, but in a darker, more "premium" version. It is understated and classy.
Which model should you choose to counter your opponents?
-
The Counter Viper 2026: For the expert right-side player looking to finish points whenever the opportunity arises.
-
The Counter Veron 2026: The epitome of versatility, comfortable and forgiving.
-
The Counter Vertuo 2026: The ideal racket for progressing and never missing a rebound off the glass.
Air 2026: Pure blue speed

This is the range that has built Babolat's reputation in recent years: the Air, featuring a teardrop shape, engineered for aerial attackers seeking manoeuvrability above all.
Here again, Babolat opts for technical continuity—why change a winning formula? But the brand has revamped its design. The iconic blue is still there, but crafted in deeper, more shadowy tones. On court, these rackets cut through the air with incredible elegance.
The Air family still consists of three models:
-
The Air Viper 2026: Explosive and ultra-manoeuvrable, for sharp players at the net.
-
The Air Veron 2026: The perfect blend of dynamic power and playing comfort.
-
The Air Vertuo 2026: Lightweight and easy to handle, to enjoy your game right from the first rallies.
In summary: A pivotal year for the Lyon brand
With this 2026 edition, Babolat has done much more than a simple "facelift". While the Air and Counter ranges mainly benefit from a successful aesthetic update, the Technical range takes an impressive technological leap forward. Between the new mould, the 3-bridge heart and the new Soft version, the French brand proves once again that it knows how to innovate to meet the needs of modern players.
