What are the features of Head Radical padel rackets? 

In 2023, the Austrian brand Head, already very prominent in the padel world, decided to revamp its padel rackets ranges by modifying the name, colour, and certain features of the existing models. Furthermore, the manufacturers decided to introduce another brand new range to expand the offering even further. Welcome then to the Radical range and its pink and blue colours, offering even more versatility. 

As with the other ranges and right from the start, the Radical line is composed of 3 distinct rackets, for each player level. The idea is to have the same type of racket available but in a more advanced version so you can upgrade easily, without feeling too disoriented. The first in the family, the Radical Elite, is made of graphene, an alloy of fibreglass and carbon fibre that brings stiffness to the racket without compromising ball control and playing comfort. A bit more demanding to master, this racket is slightly less accessible but allows you to generate more power than the Elite. 

Finally, the Radical Pro, the most advanced racket in the range, allows you to add even more punch to your game. Like all Head Pro padel rackets, it is more powerful than its smaller siblings. The graphene layer has therefore been removed, making way for 3k carbon as the sole material for the faces. Nevertheless, the racket retains its control attributes, the foam remains a Comfort FOAM and the shape remains teardrop. We can therefore say that these versatile rackets are more control-oriented. 

How to choose your Head Radical padel racket?

Every time you change racket, you need to take many criteria into account to choose a Head padel racket suited to your playing style and level. For the Radical models, it is the same. If you are a beginner and just starting padel, then the Radical Elite is the most suitable. If you already have a few matches under your belt, then the Radical Motion and Radical Pro will satisfy your needs. But be aware, as mentioned above, these rackets are intended more for players focused on control and forgiveness rather than raw power.

What is interesting about Head rackets is that the 3 versions allow a wide range of players to find what they need.
