What are the characteristics of Head Extreme padel rackets?

In 2023, the Head brand made major changes to its ranges and the distribution of its padel rackets. By changing the identity of its 2 premium ranges, the new era for the Austrian company has begun, led by the Extreme and Speed collections. Gone are the orange colours of the Delta range; welcome to the green and black of the Extreme range. However, graphene is still present but with a higher carbon content. This increases energy return and responsiveness. Be careful though, playing comfort decreases. 

Finally, for advanced players, Head has created the Extreme Pro. Like its 2 little sisters, the model features a diamond shape and firm Power FOAM; the racket also differs in its graphene composition, with more carbon in the graphene to reinforce its powerful and explosive character. The racket is therefore reserved for players with some padel experience, as it is quite difficult to play with. However, it can be devastating when mastered well. 

The latest addition to the family is the famous Extreme One. A unique padel racket with faces featuring one single hole, this innovation has caused quite a stir in the world of padel. Technically, the racket can also be considered a powerful racket thanks to its hybrid frame combining pure carbon and graphene. However, it is more comfortable than the Extreme Pro and offers more control. It still belongs in the category of rackets for experienced players.

Are Head Extreme padel rackets suitable for all players? 

As mentioned above, the 4 Head Extreme rackets are designed for players of all levels who can play with this range. However, be aware that they are still rackets designed for attacking play and are quite powerful. As a result, ball control and playing comfort are not optimal and do not suit all players. For more manoeuvrable and comfortable rackets, Head's other flagship range, the Speed, will be more suitable.
