Spanish brand Nox is considered a benchmark in the padel world thanks to its manufacturing quality, authenticity and drive to constantly innovate. In 2023, Nox pulled out all the stops to bring us a collection packed with new technologies and ever-more stylish designs. Here is a look back at the main rackets in the collection—all available on our website at the best price.
The AT10 range: like Tapia, no one will beat you
To get off to the best possible start, Nox brings you the rackets of Argentine world number 3 Agustin Tapia, one of the finest padel players of his generation. Available in several shapes so everyone can find the most suitable racket, the AT10 is one of the brand's flagship models. The player's expertise helps them constantly push boundaries and raise their standards every year when developing palas. The AT10 range is nevertheless recommended for players who already have solid experience in padel, as they are rather demanding to play with.
The Nox AT10 Genius Arena: professional versatility.
We're starting off strong with one of the brand's flagship rackets: the AT10 Genius Arena. Featuring fairly dense carbon faces (12K), it promotes precision and responsiveness after ball impact. Its HR3 rubber is also quite dense and helps provide the necessary power when closing out points. But all this stiffness must be balanced out to make the racket as well-rounded as possible. That is why the teardrop shape was chosen to add manoeuvrability and forgiveness, thanks to an enlarged sweetspot and a balance centered nicely in the middle of the face.
The Nox AT10 Genius 18K: stiffness at its best!
We move to a more offensive version with the AT10 Genius 18K, and right from the name, you can notice a radical change: the carbon density. Indeed, the faces are made of 18k carbon, making it one of the highest densities on the market. Despite this, HR3 foam is also present, which adds density to the racket while retaining some control, unlike some rackets we will see later. Teardrop-shaped, it also brings forgiveness to your strokes, making it a complete racket despite its rigidity.
This racket is also available in an Attack version. The main difference is the change in shape, which becomes diamond. Much more attack-orientated, it allows you to deliver powerful, devastating shots at the expense of the manoeuvrability provided by the teardrop shape. Be aware: while highly effective, you need experience to master this racket, which is one of the most powerful on the market.
The ML10 range: become Lamperti's double!
Just like with Tapia, Nox decided to put its trust in the very best in the padel world. That is why the partnership with 44-year-old Argentine player Miguel Lamperti has been going strong for several years. Working with one of the most experienced players on the tour and a true living legend, it is certainly thanks to his expertise that the brand and the range stay at the top year after year.
The Nox ML10 Shotgun Luxury: the weapon of mass destruction
Despite the change in range and player, the Shotgun remains a powerful racket. Named after the pump-action shotgun (no less), it is a diamond-shaped racket with a sweetspot towards the top of the racket, ideal for hitting devastating smashes. Its 12k carbon faces confirm the power such a racket can unleash. HR3 foam is also included to make it an explosive racket. A sanded surface is applied to the faces to generate maximum spin and surprise your opponents.
The Nox ML10 Pro Cup Luxury Series: perfectly precise
We switch shapes with the ML10 Pro Cup and move towards precision with a round racket. Balanced towards the handle for greater accuracy, this pala is prized for its manoeuvrability. However, the faces are made of 3k carbon, which adds good rigidity for more precision without compromising playing comfort too much. HR3 foam is also used to reinforce this stiff and precise feel. A sanded surface is also featured on the faces to enhance spin and keep your opponents off balance.
The Nox ML10 Pro Cup Silver: when comfort meets lightness
The little sister of the Pro Cup Coorp, the Silver is a lightweight racket (around 350 grams) that is well-suited to players with recurring injuries such as tennis elbow or tendinitis. Round-shaped, it is very accessible and forgiving on shots with its fibreglass faces providing optimal playing comfort. As for the foam, it is a rather stiff foam that brings extra precision, especially on volleys. What we have here is a comfortable and manoeuvrable racket that remains precise under certain conditions. Ideal, for example, for women or young teenagers buying their first racket.
The Casual Series range: to get started with total peace of mind
Advanced players aren't the only ones with their own racket range at Nox. Beginners are also in the spotlight with suitable rackets that are more accessible yet just as high-quality, allowing them to kick off their padel journey smoothly!
Nox X-One: which colour do you want to represent?
The X-One is a fairly simple racket that will satisfy most players looking for balance in their first racket. With its round shape, it is easy to handle, especially since the 3k fibreglass faces provide a medium density to the balls for optimal control. The foam is an HR3, adding a bit of rigidity to make the pala as complete as possible. One of the advantages of the 2023 X-One is its customisation. Indeed, it is available in several colours at the same price! So, would you prefer red, blue, or yellow?
Nox Ultralight: your favourite rackets at mini weight!
Nox has also innovated in the development of its Casual range with a line of Ultralight rackets. Inspired by the best palas in the range, they are extremely light and recommended for teenagers looking to take up padel. Equipped with shorter handles but the same face size as standard rackets, the goal is to help users get used to adult rackets and progress smoothly. The Nox AT10 Genius Ultralight, ML10 Pro Cup Ultralight and ML10 Pro Cup Silver Ultralight rackets are now available on our website Esprit Padel Shop!
Both in terms of technical performance and design, Nox has pulled out all the stops this year with a collection that rivals its competitors strongly. Every playing style, level and even age can find a suitable racket. So head over to our website to discover all the new models!
