This period of rehabilitation was frustrating for her, given her constant desire to compete. Victoria showed remarkable resilience, using this experience to focus on her mental and physical wellbeing.
A flying finish to 2024!
In 2024, Victoria Iglesias achieved several notable performances on the Premier Padel and FIP circuits, although she was often eliminated in the early rounds. She reached the round of 16 at the Oysho Valladolid Premier Padel P2 (in September 2024) and Premier Padel Santiago (May 2024). She reached the quarter-finals at the Rotterdam Premier Padel P1 (September 2024) and the semi-finals of the FIP Platinum Sardinia in July 2024, held just before the European Padel Championships.
However, she surprised everyone by winning the Cupra Finals at the end of the year with her partner in a well-controlled final, with a crushing 6-0 third set! The Spaniard ended the year on a high after a rather turbulent year in terms of results: 1 victory, 1 semi-final and 4 quarter-finals in 22 tournaments in 2024.
