Quite quickly, the Spanish company became popular with the general public thanks to several iconic rackets such as the Diablo, which still exists today. Over time, Siux has become a major manufacturer in the padel rackets market, as well as in other products like clothing and padel bags. Today, its position as an influential brand is reflected in numerous sponsorships of professional padel players, showing that Siux is well established in the world top 10.

Thanks to this team, Siux continues to grow in popularity and their models are selling more and more—nothing but positive news for a brand that is barely 10 years old. 

With Franco Stupaczuk joining as brand ambassador, the make took the opportunity to launch a brand-new range named Electra. In just 2 years and 2 models, it has won over fans thanks to its unique technologies. Thanks to this and its 2 variants catering to all playing styles, the Electra—also known as ST1 or ST2 depending on the year—is one of the most popular rackets on the market. 

Siux Electra padel rackets, what are the advantages?

Siux Electra padel rackets are therefore available in 3 distinct models designed to cover the widest possible range of playing styles. Note that we are referring here to the 2023 models and that only the classic ST2 had a 2022 edition called the ST1. The classic Siux Electra ST2 is a very well-rounded racket with a carbon density on the faces equivalent to 15k. Very rigid, it compensates with an ultra soft foam core that makes it versatile and quite unique. Furthermore, its teardrop shape makes it the quintessential all-round racket. 

Its first variant is the Siux Electra ST2 Hybrid, which differs slightly in its carbon density. Indeed, instead of the ST2's 15k carbon, which is quite stiff, the ST2 Hybrid features a 12k carbon, which is more flexible and allows for better control and slightly increased comfort. However, the other characteristics are quite similar between the ST2 and the ST2 Hybrid, which use the same foam, the same shape, and the same technologies. 

The 2nd Electra is the Siux Electra ST2 Control which, as its name suggests, focuses on ball control. It retains many features of its classic ST2 sister: ultra soft foam, 15k carbon, same innovations… But the major change lies in the shape. A round mould is favoured here to balance the weight towards the handle and thus improve the pala's manoeuvrability. Ideal for players who prefer defending and lobbing.

Several interesting technologies are integrated into the Electra ST2. First of all, the grip. In collaboration with ShockOut, Siux has integrated a special spiral grip that fits the fingers perfectly and provides a better hold, much like Bullpadel's Hesacore. Please note, it is always recommended to apply an overgrip on top.

Also born from the partnership with ShockOut, Siux also features vibration dampeners in the holes of its rackets. These accessories, sold separately and adaptable to virtually all rackets on the market, serve to reduce vibrations in the elbow caused by strikes. Handy for cushioning the feel of high-density carbon and preventing injuries such as tendinitis. 

How to care for your Siux Electra racket?

Are Siux Electra padel rackets suitable for all players?

However, they remain accessible to certain intermediate players because the playing comfort and pala hardness are well mitigated by the foam and vibration dampeners in particular, unlike high-end rackets from other brands.
