Babolat 2026 : Révolution pour les Technical et "Dark Mode" activé pour la nouvelle collection
Summary

This is the moment fans of the Lyon-based brand have been waiting for. With the season in full swing, Babolat has finally unveiled its 2026 collection. While we’d grown used to minor tweaks, this year the French manufacturer has decided to shake things up.

What’s in store: a dark, elegant new look, but above all a major technical overhaul of its Technical range. We’ve broken down all the new features of this Babolat 2026 collection.

The Technical 2026 range: A complete fresh start

This is the big news of the launch. If you’re a fan of the "Par 3", pay close attention. The Technical range, designed for technical attacking players, has undergone a complete overhaul.

Gone is the mould you knew. Babolat introduces a much more aggressive shape with sharper angles at the racket head. The aim? To increase the head-heavy balance for devastating leverage on shots. But power is nothing without control. That’s where the new Dynamic Stability System technology comes in.

Look at the racket’s throat and you’ll immediately notice the difference: the bridge now has three arms instead of two. This structure provides better stability on impact and greater forgiveness, addressing the long-standing drawback of diamond-shaped rackets, which are often too demanding. The hole pattern has also been revised to optimise ball output.

The range comes in three models to suit your level:

  • The Technical Viper 2026: A rigid-carbon powerhouse for experts.

  • The Technical Veron 2026: The ideal balance thanks to the more dynamic Carbon Flex.

  • The big news: the Vertuo makes way for the Technical Viper Soft 2026. A racket designed to be much easier to play with, offering the punch of a diamond shape without excessive stiffness.

Counter 2026: The yellow wall goes stealth

For strategists and tireless defenders, the Counter range retains its legendary round shape and huge "sweet spot" (the ideal hitting area). There’s no drastic change to the mould here, but the feel has been refined.

The look has changed, though. The signature yellow remains, but in a darker, more "premium" version. It’s understated and stylish.

Which model should you choose to counter your opponents?

  • The Counter Viper 2026: For the expert right-side player who wants to finish points when the opportunity arises.

  • The Counter Veron 2026: Versatility personified, comfortable and forgiving.

  • The Counter Vertuo 2026: The ideal racket to improve your game and never miss another shot off the glass.

Air 2026: Pure blue speed

This is the range that has made Babolat’s name in recent years: the Air, with its teardrop shape, designed for airborne attackers who value manoeuvrability above all else.

Here too, Babolat is sticking with technical continuity – why change a winning formula? But the brand has refreshed the design. Its iconic blue is still there, now in deeper, darker shades. On court, these rackets cut through the air with remarkable elegance.

The Air family still consists of three models:

  • The Air Viper 2026: Explosive and ultra-manoeuvrable, for quick players at the net.

  • The Air Veron 2026: The perfect blend of dynamic power and playing comfort.

  • The Air Vertuo 2026: Lightweight and easy to play with, so you can enjoy yourself from the very first rallies.

In short: A pivotal year for the Lyon-based brand

With this 2026 edition, Babolat has done more than give its rackets a "facelift". While the Air and Counter ranges have mainly received a successful visual makeover, the Technical range has taken an impressive technological leap forward. Between the new mould, the three arms in the throat and the new Soft version, the French brand proves it can still innovate to meet the needs of modern players.
