How to Choose Your Head Speed Racket?

For very powerful players, the Head Speed Pro X is a great option. With its 12k carbon frame and head-heavy balance due to its diamond shape, this racket is one of the most powerful on the market. For advanced players who want a bit more finesse in their game, the Speed Pro is highly recommended. The teardrop shape is designed for greater versatility thanks to a weight distribution that’s centered toward the middle of the head. It still features Power Foam to maintain power and stiffness. The main difference lies in the faces, which are made of graphene—an alloy of carbon and fiberglass that provides a good balance between power and control. However, the carbon content is higher than the fiberglass. A highly versatile racket, the Speed Pro is sure to win over many advanced players. 

As for its two “little sisters,” the Speed Motion and the Speed Elite, they’re much easier to play with and more accessible to intermediate players and beginners. Why? Because they’re lighter, and the carbon content in the graphene is lower. This creates a hierarchy among the four rackets, ranging from the most accessible (Speed Elite) to the stiffest (Speed Pro). 

Are Head Speed rackets suitable for all players? 

Given this hierarchy and the wide range of rackets, it’s safe to say that the Speed series is suitable for most players—there’s something for everyone.
