Padel racket Nox Genius 18K Alum by Agustín Tapia 2027

Agustín Tapia’s precision for expert players

Nox presents the Genius 18K Alum, Agustín Tapia’s signature racket. Its cover is designed in the shape of a violin, a nod to the player’s nickname, the ‘Mozart of padel’.

It is designed for expert players who refuse to give up an inch of the court and seek the perfect balance between attack and defence.

Its teardrop shape and medium balance offer excellent versatility, letting you switch from a defensive shot to an attacking stroke without sacrificing precision, all in an understated, refined grey colourway.

This racket features Carbon 18K Alum faces. This aluminised carbon provides a solid feel on impact and ensures consistent performance, even when the temperature on court changes.

It has a Multilayered Black EVA core made from several layers of rubber with different densities. This optimises the ball’s trajectory on slow defensive shots while delivering real power on smashes.

The Dual Spin finish combines a raised 3D texture with a layer of silica sand to grip the ball more effectively and make it easier to generate spin.

With the Weight Balance system and its interchangeable 2 g and 4 g weights, you can adjust the racket’s weight and balance to suit your playing style perfectly.

What’s more, the EOS Tunnel adds side perforations integrated directly into the mould, improving aerodynamics and making the racket faster and easier to manoeuvre during rallies.

For comfort, the new VCS system uses a high-performance elastomer bonded inside the handle. It filters out up to 60% more vibrations than the previous generation to help protect your arm.

This is complemented by the Pulse System, whose rubber inserts along the sides, from the base of the frame to the end cap, further reduce the vibrations transmitted to your hand.

The racket also features Carbon Frame technology, a carbon reinforcement built into the frame that increases the stiffness and durability of the racket as a whole.

In addition, the Dynamic Composite Structure extends the frame material up to four centimetres into the face, eliminating differences in hardness and helping to prevent cracks.

The handle is equipped with Custom Grip®, a technology patented by Nox and certified to improve grip while reducing the vibrations you feel.

There is also the Smart Strap, a system that lets you change the safety cord in seconds for hygiene or personalisation.

Finally, the Oversize Grip adds 30 mm to the handle, ideal for players who like to hit two-handed backhands or prefer a longer handle.

A complete, refined racket designed for experienced players who want to combine precision, power and consistency in every rally.

Technologies built into the Genius 18K Alum 2027 padel racket:

Carbon 18K Alum

Aluminised 18K carbon provides a solid, comfortable feel and more consistent performance when temperatures vary.

Multilayered Black EVA

A multilayer core combining several rubber densities. It optimises the ball’s trajectory on slow defensive shots and delivers power on smashes.

Dual Spin

A combination of 3D texture and a silica-sand finish that helps you vary your shots and generate more spin.

Weight Balance

Interchangeable 2 g and 4 g counterweights, up to 8 g in total, let you adjust the weight and balance to your preference.

EOS Tunnel

Side perforations built into the mould improve aerodynamics, manoeuvrability and weight distribution.

VCS

High-performance elastomer bonded to the entire inner surface of the handle. It forms a cushioning barrier that reduces the transmission of shocks and vibrations.

Pulse System

Rubber inserts running along the sides from the base of the frame to the butt cap reduce vibrations transmitted to the hand.

Carbon frame

Carbon reinforcement in the frame increases the rigidity and strength of the racket as a whole.

Dynamic Composite Structure

The frame material extends up to four centimetres into the face. This continuity eliminates differences in hardness and helps prevent cracks.

Custom Grip®

Technology patented by Nox, certified to improve grip and reduce vibrations.

Smart Strap

A system that lets you change the handle’s safety cord quickly and easily.

Oversize Grip

30 mm longer handle, providing more room for two-handed backhands and greater swing weight when striking the ball.
